Performer requests that members of the audience call out names of various objects that they want him to remember. He or his assistant then writes them down on a blackboard or large sheet of paper and numbers them as they are called. After twenty-five to thirty names have been called performer then gives the sheet to a spectator or if a blackboard has been used he turns his back and requests that any number from one to thirty be called. The performer immediately gives the word corresponding to that number. After giving ten to fifteen words as they are requested, the performer proceeds to give them in reverse order, start- ing with the last and ending with the first. The words may next be given in any order every other word; every third word; or in any other way desired. A word may be called and performer will give its position on the list.
