This project collects three of my original Self-Working card routines, continuing the theme of the first two volumes: simple methods with powerful effects.
Each routine has a different style: the spectator freely cuts the deck and eventually finds their selection; a card-and-number effect; and a completely impromptu method for controlling a thought-of card to any position. No difficult sleight of hand is required—anyone can learn these three powerful routines that will fool even magicians.
■ 32-Card Dealing Miracle:
The spectator freely selects two cards. The magician deals three piles on the table and lets the spectator freely cut their selections into the middle of the three piles. The magician then deals from both sides, and the final two cards are the spectator's selections. Not only that, the magician also deals the 4 Aces, even though the spectator has complete freedom over the cuts.
■ Casual Indicator:
A find-the-card routine with a twist. The spectator freely selects a card, the magician shuffles the deck, and the spectator freely cuts off a packet. The magician deals through the packet, and the value of the final card indicates the exact position of the selection.
■ Four-Way Clues:
An impromptu ACAAN routine—a method for controlling a thought-of card to any position in the deck.
