A very fooling, self-working routine.
The spectator freely selects two cards—no force. The magician explains that the cards share a special connection and can locate each other, then has the spectator insert one selection face up and the other face down into two different positions in the deck. As the magician deals through the cards, the face-up card locates the face-down card. As a final surprise, the values of the two accompanying cards add up to the positions of the matching mates of the two selections.
