The ability to read palms is an invaluable skill for any magician to possess. Audiences, especially women, love having their palms read and will flock to anyone who offers to do it. You may also not be surprised to learn that most people find palm reading more credible and certainly far less intimidating than more esoteric fortune telling methods, such as Tarot card reading. The problem that most performers run into is while there are an abundance of palmistry resources available – both in print and online, almost all are directed at the general public, “New-Agers” or ESP enthusiasts. People who will willingly invest considerable time attempting to master this extremely complex pseudo science. They are not written for mentalists and magicians looking to entertain.
