Overview
Unleash the wonder of gravity-defying magic with this complete levitation illusion kit from Black Box Illusions. Whether you’re performing for friends or setting up a show-stopping effect, this kit gives you the tools to make objects hover, float and mesmerize your audience.
What you can do
Create the illusion of loose objects floating in mid-air, seemingly without support.
Perform a striking levitation effect that appears impossible to onlookers.
Step into the role of a magician or illusionist, showing off a “no-strings-attached” floating effect.
Use the included props and instruction materials to build your confidence and presentation style.
What’s included
While exact contents can vary by version, typical items in the kit include:
Special gimmicks or rigging materials to enable the levitation effect.
A selection of cloths, props or supports designed for theatrical presentation.
Instructions (possibly written or DVD/online format) that teach the method of the trick and ideas for presentation.
Packaging that suits a magic kit format (box, branded graphics, etc).
Ideal for
Beginner to intermediate magicians looking to add a strong visual illusion to their repertoire.
Gift-buyers wanting a magical, eye-catching present.
Performers aiming to wow friends, family or small audiences with a levitation effect.
Performance Tips
Set up in a well-lit area but avoid strong back-lighting or shadows that might give away the mechanics.
Practice the moves thoroughly so that your handling is smooth and confident.
Use misdirection and patter to draw attention away from the trick’s method and focus the audience on the “impossible” effect.
Be mindful of the viewing angles: illusions involving levitation often rely on the audience’s perspective to hide supports or gimmicks.
Always check your props and rigging before performing for real—safety and reliability matter.
Why it stands out
The Black Box Illusions Levitation Kit offers a strong visual effect—levitation is one of the most compelling magic illusions—to a non-professional audience with a self-contained set. From available listing descriptions: one eBay item summarises it simply as “Magic Levitation Kit. Levitate … and learn to do magic.”
Another listing bundles it with a “stripper kit” and mentions “With a focus on levitation … this bundle provides a diverse range of tricks” indicating versatility beyond one single trick.
